Our Qualification Model

IT Consort prides itself on building quality networks of proven professionals. Recommendation and Referral forms the foundation of all our qualification. We aim to provide a genuine, independent and cost effective alternative to the large Systems Integrators for clients undergoing large scale Transformation Programmes.
We deliver best of breed OOA&D practitioners against specific requirements quickly and accurately. We are able to do this because of our unique qualification model.
This qualification model has two distinct tiers: Our Qualification Model decoration image
  • Tier 1
    This represents successful recruitment through our Networks. Candidates will either be identified from our Associate pool (Candidates that we have placed before) or through recommendation and referral. This is our primary route to market and all searches will start in tier 1.
    Candidates identified within tier 1 will be represented within 24 hours of the agreed job desription.
  • Tier 2
    On the rare occasion that our network fails us we will open up our search into the open market. This will involve Advertising on jobboards and throughout our extensive candidate database. If and when this produces a relevant profile we will undergo a strict 5 stage qualification process as detailed below, before it can be represented.
    Candidates identified within tier 2 will be represented within 3 working days of an agreed job description.

Qualification Model
In the above diagram the blue section outlines our actions where a candidate has been forwarded through our direct network. The yellow sections outlines our activities when a candidate has been identified through Advertising. It is worth noting however, that well over 90% of the placements we make come from our direct network. In the event that our network fails us we have developed a thorough recruitment cycle to ensure that the quality of our service is not compromised
We build lasting relationships with the contract candidates that we place and view them as the life blood of our operation. In return for a career in contracting we expect them to help us interview potential candidates before we forward them to our client. This peer-led interviewing gives us complete confidence that any CV we forward is technically 100%.
Before any candidate is forwarded to a client by IT Consort, he or she will have been met, referenced, qualified for commitment to the role, and qualified for technical fit (by a top contractor). This is our commitment to all our clients and this process, carried out by experienced and proven individuals, is our guarantee that we will deliver the right candidate every time.
